Billing and subscriptions
Protocol Premium subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple. You can review, cancel, or restore your subscription from Apple ID subscription settings.
For Apple billing disputes or refund requests, Apple remains the payment processor and the right place to complete those requests.
Reminders
If reminders stop arriving, confirm notification permission is still enabled for Protocol in iPhone Settings. Reminder intent can sync, but notification scheduling still happens on each device separately.
iCloud sync
If sync looks delayed, confirm that iCloud is enabled on both devices and allow CloudKit a little time to catch up. Protocol keeps local copies of your personal data so your latest changes remain on the device even if sync is temporarily unavailable.
Editorial updates
Protocol refreshes editorial content from its CloudKit public database and falls back to the last valid or bundled content if refresh or validation fails.
